Note from the Editor of 7Visions Magazine: Today, we continue our On Wednesdays We Rock Letters series as a tribute to our National Founders, their legacies and the tradition of wearing red letters on Wednesdays as a homage to the Seven Visionary Men who founded our brotherhood at Texas Tech University on Wednesday November 25th, 1987. In celebration of another successful National Convention, during this special edition of On Wednesdays We Rock Letters we feature one of our two newest Chapters: Beta Sigma at the University of Houston Downtown.

The Main Street Knights lead a anti-bullying campaign which has become one of their signature efforts at UHD as well as participating in numerous citywide events such as Sabor del Northside, a cultural festival that celebrates the Northside community of Houston. Keeping in line with the brotherhood’s desire to serve the most vulnerable communities, the fraternity has also volunteered for the Rebuild Northside beautification project in which organizations come together to “revitalize the Northside while improving the quality of life for vulnerable commuity members, particularly those living in substandard housing conditions”. The Main Street Knights have won Greek Organization of the Year numerous times since their inception as well as Greek Man of the Year at the University of Houston- Downtown University Awards.
