Omega Delta Phi Inc. has announced a  long-planned, strategic move to host Biennial National Conferences effective immediately. The organization’s national conferences will now be held every other year to allow its nine undergraduate regions an opportunity to expand and strengthen their own conferences. The fraternity’s national officers plan to lead the effort by increasing their presence and involvement in regional conferences and local events.

“Although we will not host a national convention in 2014, we expect to return in 2015 with a new and improved system better aimed at serving our
500+ undergraduate members” explained National President Jacob-Aidan Martinez. National Alumni Association Chairman Nick Pesina added, “this move provides us the opportunity to continue our efforts to unite our thousands of alumni and strengthen our local alumni associations.” Board of Directors Chairman Soilo J. Felix affirmed the move by adding, “I am pleased with the organization’s continued strategic planning, which will help us achieve our ODPhi 2020 vision to graduate all of our members and keep them engaged in our mission beyond their undergraduate years.”

About Omega Delta Phi: Omega Delta Phi is a multicultural service/social fraternity committed to graduating its members and serving the community. The Fraternity has established itself on over 60 college campuses, and is predominantly centered in Texas and the Southwest.
Since founding in 1987, Omega Delta Phi has been an organization perpetually dedicated to the idea of constant growth and improvement. We must work to form an organization which not only challenges the traditional perception of fraternities, but also deals with the issues of culture and race
in a completely new perspective. Thinking out of the box is no longer an acceptable plateau; the box must now be removed completely.
