Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc. is proud to announce the appointment of Brother Gio Monterroso, from the Beta Alpha Chapter, as the new Director of Diversity and Inclusion.

“I am truly honored. This is a position that I wanted since I worked under the first director of diversity and inclusion, Joél-Léhi Organista as part of his LGBTQIA+ and disability committees,” Monterroso said. ” I hope to help this brotherhood to grow and to live up to the standards of this fraternity and this brotherhood.” 

Vice President of Membership Engagement Jose Fabian Jimenez spoke on his excitement to work with Monterroso.

Gio brings a wealth of experience having been part of the National and Inclusion team, and as the Regional Director of Diversity and Inclusion for the Midwest Region during the current term,”I look forward to working with Gio to hit the ground running and make the best of the remainder of our term.”

Gio’s goals for this term are, to help educate brothers in the areas of LGBTQIA+, DACA, disabilities, and mental health. Monterroso also wants to set up committees for each to help improve relationships between brothers as well as to set up a way of communication
