The Omega Delta Phi Dallas/Fort Worth Alumni Association will be hosting a series of outreach and service/philanthropic events this month. The DFW Alumni will kickoff the series of events by hosting their 8th Annual Knights Classic Golf Tournament on Friday June 22nd at 7:00 am CT at the Riverchase Golf Club located at 700 Riverchase Drive, Coppell, 75019.

Undergraduate brothers, alumni, and family and friends are invited to partake in this tradition; a tradition in which all proceeds will benefit both national and local scholarship initiatives by the DFW Alumni Association.

The DFW Alumni Association has a scholarship fund which awards several scholarships namely to a high school graduating senior out of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metropolitan area as well as to a brother currently enrolled in undergraduate studies who has gone above and beyond to uphold the principles of Omega Delta Phi and excels academically while being a Man of Vision, a leader in all aspects.

The participant registration cost is $80.00 and will include cart, green fees, free range balls, buffet lunch, gift bag, $5 pro shop gift card, and 1 FREE round to BOTH Riverchase and Ridgeview Ranch Golf Clubs. Golf clubs can be rented at the Pro shop as well if needed.

The DFW Alumni Association is also launching their School Supply Drive which will benefit the West Dallas Community Centers after school programs. The Association will be taking monetary donations or actual supplies.

The West Dallas Community Center liason Maritza Villegas, a Kappa Delta Chi alumn from UT San Antonio, has requested the following items:  writing utensils (i.e. pencils, pens and erasers), paper of all types (notebook, construction), art supplies (i.e. crayons, markers, tempera paint), board games (i.e. checkers, chest), manipulative toys (i.e. Legos, blocks), books for all ages, and visual aids (posters, chalk or white board).

The members of the DFW Alumni Association feel that their organization allows them to continue living the sacraments and purpose of Omega Delta Phi by providing community outreach, service and philanthropy, and educational programs to the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolis. It also allows brothers residing in Dallas/Fort Worth the opportunity to remain connected to the brotherhood they joined.

Please contact Service Coordinator Rafael Torres at or at for more information on both of these events.
