VP of Leadership and Development Announcement

Location: Seattle, WA – The National Office of Omega Delta Phi announced today that Brother Manny Diaz has joined the National Executive Council as Vice President of Leadership and Development for the 2018 – 2021 administration. Brother Diaz, who recently finished a successful term as Central Texas Regional Director, will be responsible for managing the following directors: Director of Professional Development, Director of Entity Development, Director of Business Development, and also manage the Conference Chair for NLI & Nationals.

Brother Diaz joined Omega Delta Phi at Alpha Tau chapter where he graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and in 2013 with a Masters of Science in Applied Criminology.  He currently works for the Laredo Police Department as a Field Training Officer.  Brother Diaz also has previously served as National Director of Intake and as Central Texas Regional Director where he had incredible success bringing a Region of the Year title home in 2016.

“Having worked with Brother Diaz for a long time, I’m always impressed with the degree of passion, intensity, and leadership he brings to the table.  Our Brotherhood benefits from having him leading the fraternal and professional development of our Brothers,” said National President Tony Pagliocco.

“The new position will bring on new challenges for me that I am excited to take on. National conference and entity development will be 2 areas of primary focus to ensure a successful term and establish a foundation for years to come. I look forward to serving the nation and help promote growth within the Brotherhood. ” said Brother Diaz in reference to his new leadership role.

Brother Diaz’s appointment comes as a result of the recent elections in Chicago and the start of the appointment of a new transition team for the 2018 to 2021 administration.  His first priority will to begin filling his Director vacancies and finalize the transition from previous VP, Ruben Hernandez.  Questions for Brother Diaz can be sent to vp.leadership@omegadeltaphi.org
